Malek Zozan Mosque, Khaaf

This mosque is located in the plains of Zozan ( Khaaf ) and dates to the early 7th century AH. The remains of this mosque are two walls, an archway and a few pillars. On its inscriptions even the dates of the year 615-617 AH can be observed. This mosque can be considered as a specimen of interest as far as the Kufi script is concerned.
 

Haftado Dotan (Ex Shah) Mosque, Mashad

This mosque is one of the ancient, historical sites constructed by Shamsedin Mohammad Tabrizi in the year 855 AH. The mosque has a large dome with tile work, portico and two minarets. Two tile worked minarets placed on both sides of the portico display an inscription. There is also another inscription which has golden imprints on the tiles. This site is on historical record of the Khorassan province .
 

Goharshad Mosque, Mashad

This mosque was constructed by Goharshad (the wife of Shahrokh Teimoori), in 821 AH. This mosque has a large courtyard in the center with four porticos. Beautiful inscriptions in Thulth script (the work of Shahrokh’s son) adorn the walls.

Chashm Village Jame' Mosque, Sabzevar

This mosque is located in Sabzevar 's Cheshm village and unfortunately has been partially turned into ruins by the passage of time. But inspite of this, its Shabestans which were places for nocturnal prayers are still in a good condition and are being used by the residents of this village.
