This ancient castle dates back to Parthian time and it is said that the ancient city on Neh had been there. There are some earthenware objects in the castle similar to Parthian ones from shape and color point of view. Moreover, there are some earthenware objects in the castle belonging to Safavid time indicative of being used till that period.
This castle is on a hill 20 meters high and has a diameter of 300 meters surrounded by a long and wide wall with several towers. The architectural style of this castle has special characteristics from form and design points of view. |
