The remnants of this structure is located on the ancient Shoosh hillock. This mosque consisted of a nocturnal area, with column, a central courtyard and an outer enclosure. The walls were made of sun baked bricks. It also had a large pillared hall, and brick worked inscriptions in the Kufic script and were discovered from the south eastern part of the courtyard. To the eastern corner of the mosque there is the remnant of a minaret with a spiral stairway. Proffessor Grishman believes that this mosque belongs to the first century AH.
