Iran Shahr Old Castle, Iran Shahr

 The said castle was a seat of power or command in the past in Baluchestan. It is a brick construction, built during the reign of Naseredin Shah by Firooz Mirza in the year 1264 AH.
 

Chehel Dokhtaran Castle, Nik Shahr

 In the upper Sookhteh Valley and in the wide bed of the Hamoon, to the southwest of Nik Shahr is the ruins of a structure reputedly known as 'Chehel Dokhtaran'. The same comprises of a tall castle and a minaret on the entrance which faces the east. The form of this minaret reveals that on each side of the entrance two chambers were present, and this (minaret) may be related to the minarets of 'Sar-o-Tar' and 'Chehel Borj'.

Other Ancient Cities and Archaeological Hills, Sistan Va Baluchestan

These are the following: the old city of Zahedan in Posht Ab Zabol, (related to the Teimoorid period); the Kallati, Bakhshan, Rubahak, Mahtab, Khazaneh, Koohak and Meel Hard hillocks in Saravan (related to the first millennium BC.); Seyed Mir Omar hillock in the Jaleq district; Tasooki hills in Zabol and Siyahiyoon hillocks in Chabahar (related to the pre-Islamic period).

 The ruins of this ancient city which was once the capital of Sistan, is located in the plains alongside the Hamoon Lake. Historical records and documents show that this city in its own time was a thriving and flourishing one, even in the pre- Islamic period.

Kooh-e-Khajeh Hill, Zabol

 Kooh-e-Khajeh is one of the most valuable and historical relics of this province, and is located in the territory of Sistan. This hillock is at an elevation of 900 m. and is located in the midst of the Hamoon Lake, just like an island. On top of this hill are the remnants of a fire-temple and a colossal palatial structure, with spectacular architectural finish and overlooking a vast court-yard.
