Besides the above mentioned, other churches are present in this province such as Balolan, Mariyookhneh, Saint Jorj, Marqooya and Dareh-ye-Sham.
Zoorzoor (Barone) Church, Siyah Cheshmeh
This church is in the village of Barone in Zangar Valley, and in order to save it from damages, the church structure was hauled up on the mountain with the utmost care and concentration. This church dates back to the 10th century AD.
Sorop Serkis Church, Khoy
The said church dates back to the 4th century AD. , and is on the Cultural Heritage Organization records.
Qarah Church (Tatavoos Church)
This church is situated in the village of Qarah Kelisa, district of Siyah Cheshmeh, Maku. It is the tomb of the sacred Thaddeus. According to historical records of the Sassanian period, some of the Armenians were the followers of prophet Zoroaster, whereas some were sun worshipers. In the year 43 AD. two men by the name of Tatavoos and Batholemus preached on Christianity in the vicinity of Azarbayjan, thereby gaining number of followers (3500 people ) including the daughter of the monarch of the time.
This church is also known as the East Assyrian church. This is a relic from the early centuries of the Christian calendar.
Marserkis Church, Orumieh
This church is on the slopes of the mountains, 12 km. west of Orumieh. This church was built under the orders of Shirin (the wife of the Sassanian ruler Khosrow Parviz), who was a Christian follower, .
Marqoor Yaqoos (Johoodlardaqi) Church, Orumieh
This church is located out side the Orumieh city on the slopes of the Marqoor Yagoos Mountain. The structure of the said is probably related to the Sassanian era.
Markhneh (Sorop Neshan) Church, Khoy
This church is located in the village of Jamal Abad, and belongs to the Assyrian of this vicinity. The mode of architecture relates to the Sassanian period.
Mahalzan Church, Khoy
This church is 8 km. north of Khoy in the village of Mahalzan. The church is most probably related to the Mongol or Safavid periods.
Hazrat Mariyam Church, Orumieh
This church is situated in a garden in an old locality of the city. The construction of which dates back to the 7th century AD. and the end of the Sassanian Dynasty.
Seyed-ol-Shohada Mosque, Khoy
This mosque is located in north Enqelab Street and belongs to Qajar era. It is tetrangular structure and to the height of 60 cm. it was constructed by stone and the rest with brick. It has single storey shabestan (or Nocturnal area), the pillars of which is carefully and regularly decorated by brick works.This mosque is unique in architecture.
Orumieh Jame' Mosque, Orumieh
This historical mosque has been repaired from time to time and is located in the center of the ancient bazaar of this city. The ancient dome of this mosque has been related to the period of the Saljuqians and its altar to the Eilkhanian era 676 AH. Evidence of broken articles found in excavations from the base of the 40 pillars in the domed nocturnal area, have further fortified this theory.
This mosque was formerly known as the Bazaar Bash Mosque being located close to the square of wheat- sellers and the bazaar of the city. The mosque has unique architectural finish and was under repair in the year 1972.
Motaleb Khan Mosque, Khoy
Situated in the central part of the city, this mosque is related to the Eilkhani era. After being destroyed, it was reconstructed in the Qajar period. It has beautiful plaster moldings and engravings.
Molla Hassan Mosque, Khoy
The said mosque was constructed in the year 1316 AH. and from the aspect of architectural techniques can be considered unique.
Menareh Mosque, Orumieh
This mosque has been situated in Amir Nezam sector of Orumieh and has a long brick made minaret which was constructed during the Qajar era.The external facade of the mosque has beautiful ornamental works. The terminal fringes are adorned by seven colored tile works. Utilization of small square shaped glazed bricks in spiral manner has created special manifestation worth seeing.
Mahabad Jame' Mosque, Mahabad
This mosque is from the Safavid era and because of its unique architectural techniques is considered to be one of the most beautiful and historical structures of this province. This mosque has 18 pillars and 18 domes.
Imamzadeh Barkeshloo Mausoleum, Orumieh
This mausoleum is in a village 12 km. from Orumieh and dates back to the Zandiyeh period or early Qajar era. From the architectural point of view this mausoleum is uniquely interesting.
